EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT:
Vocational Evaluations
If you’re being sent to see us for a Vocational Evaluation, it probably means that you were injured and that your injury is impacting your ability to do your job. We’re here to help determine what work you can do after an injury or if you have a disability. Here’s how it works:
What We Look At:
We review your injury details, medical treatment, and recovery to understand your current abilities. This helps us build a plan for a new career that fits within your limits.
Skills & Job Options:
We check your work history and look at the skills you’ve built over the years. We identify other jobs in your local area where these skills can be used, even if you can’t do the exact work you did before.
Testing & Recommendations:
We might do some simple tests to see where your strengths and interests lie. Then, we offer suggestions to help you get back to work—whether that’s finding a new job or getting retraining for a different line of work.
Future Earnings:
We know that you’re worried about earning the same amount that you earned before. We’ll show you options for careers that have the potential to best match yourfinancial needs.
This evaluation is all about finding the right path forward for you. That’s why we want to get to know you and create a plan tailored just for you that takes into account what you can do and what you want to do.
What to Expect
During this appointment, we’ll be doing a few tests…but don’t worry. Nothing physical.
We work hard to make sure our appointments start on time. Please come to your appointment with your forms filled out, or plan to arrive 10 minutes early if you need help filling out your forms.
